Use the booking identifier to connect records. Never merge two people based on name alone, especially when names are common.
The photograph and fingerprints belong to intake identification, while the agency narrative describes the event that led to custody. Bail can change after a judge reviews release. Holds may arise from another case or agency. A charge label on the roster is one point in time, not a reliable account of what the prosecutor later filed or what the court decided.
Weber County Booking Process
After booking, Weber Corrections tells the person the listed charges, required bail, whether bail is cash-only or bondable, and whether holds apply. Reception and Orientation houses new arrivals until classification. There is no visiting or commissary during that period. A classification officer reviews behavior, charges, and history. The process may take up to 72 hours, and Weber uses six custody levels, with Level 1 the most restrictive.
Arraignment is set for the next court day. Some people may qualify for court-approved own-recognizance release based on a verifiable address and community ties. That warning is why a roster miss cannot prove that an arrest never occurred.

An Ogden arrest can create both city and county records. Ogden Police keeps its report, while Weber Corrections keeps the booking. The same split applies to Roy, North Ogden, South Ogden, Riverdale, Harrisville, university police, and Utah Highway Patrol cases. Arrest Records vs Conviction Records
An arrest record documents custody and allegations. A conviction record documents a court's judgment of guilt. Prosecutor screening can change charges after a Weber County booking, and a case may end in dismissal or acquittal. Compare the jail entry with the filed court case before describing an outcome.
